How This Differs from Trip Recommendations

You may remember our Recommended Trips for Dispatch feature (sent right before Christmas if you've missed it) which helps dispatchers build better routes.

Trip Offer works in the background instead, protecting coverage when an upcoming trip is left unassigned or falls at risk of delay. Instead of suggesting trips to dispatch, it bypasses the need for manual intervention, automatically broadcasting urgent unassigned trips directly to qualified drivers, especially those with no active trips that day.

How It Works

You stay in control of when and how trips are broadcasted. Trip Offer activates automatically based on two scenarios:

For unassigned trips, the system broadcasts to qualified drivers a set number of minutes before scheduled pickup. You define this threshold. For example, if set to 10 minutes, any trip still unassigned at that point gets broadcast automatically to eligible drivers nearby.

For assigned trips at risk of delay, the system monitors driver ETAs continuously. If an assigned driver's ETA exceeds the on-time window, Trip Offer finds a replacement before the original driver is removed. The trip only reassigns if it improves arrival time.

In both cases, the broadcast goes out to qualified drivers in batches, ranked by distance, ETA, and rating. It stops the moment a driver accepts.
